Beyond the Chutes is on the road again! Join BTC at the Mountain Cove Cowboy Reunion for a special 10th-anniversary celebration put on by Marlon Harris. In this episode, Doug sits down with singer-songwriter and true cowgirl Nikki McLeod, who shares her incredible journey from growing up on a cow-calf operation in North Dakota to making music that celebrates her cowgirl roots. Nikki started writing cowboy poetry at the age of 8 and learned to play the guitar at 11, called Cowboy Inheritance, setting her on a path to becoming a unique voice in Western music. Listen in as Nikki shares stories from her life, sings heartfelt songs, and talks about her love for Western music, her faith, recording her first 2 albums in the studio and her current project – her 3rd album. Nikki is a very talented leather worker and her custom chaps have been in the arena at the NFR. Nikki’s tales will captivate your heart and inspire your soul. Whether you’re a fan of cowboy culture, love a good story, or just want to enjoy some great music, this episode has something for everyone. Don’t miss it!
